1. Your first cosplay.
Deidara from Naruto. The costume itself wasn't so bad because it was mostly done by my mom, but the hair... asdfgh : DDD I did get a wig for him later, though.

2. How many costumes have you done?
22, unless I missed some when trying to count. Should keep my coscom profile up to date, would be easy to just check there instead of trying to rely on my memory.

3. Your most recent cosplay?
Last one I wore was Link (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess), but it's not quite finished yet. My most recent completed outfit is Heroic Actress!Estelle (Tales of Vesperia).

4. Your favourite cosplay (that you have done)
Alicia (Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria). I couldn't be happier with how the outfit turned out.

5. The character you have cosplayed that is most similar to you (if none that you have cosplayed, then one that you will cosplay)
I... have no idea. Opinions?

6. Your cosplay plans for the rest of the year (if you have no more for this year, then do next year!)
Gilbert Nightray (Pandora Hearts), Emeraude (Tales of Graces), got to finish Link and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna rewear Asch (Tales of the Abyss) at some point. For unsure plans, check the '12 cosplay meme I submitted a while back.

7. The dream cosplay that might just happen.
Silmeria (VP2: S). Her outfit is absolutely gorgeous and I really really want to make it someday, but right now I don't have enough knowledge of materials to make that armor work.

8. The dream cosplay that will never happen.
Oh man, where do I even start? For me, it's usually never about the complexity of a costume but rather about the character's looks and charisma. I know people claim size and build don't matter in cosplay, but I couldn't feel comfortable if I myself felt I wasn't "doing justice" to the character. To name a couple, let's say Gokudera Hayato (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!), Klavier Gavin (Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney), Ghirahim (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword) and Midna (TLoZ:TP). But I don't want to say "never"; after all, I did just cosplay Link who was on my never-gonna-happen list for a long time.

9. Something cosplay-related that you will never do (eg. crossplay, cosplay from a certain series)
Making out or doing some other sort of explicit fanservice while cosplaying. That's just... no.

10. Your cosplay idol.
~pikminlink. Forever in awe at her dedication and the quality of her craftmanship.

11. Your cosplay specialty (ie. something that seems to apply to a large amount of your cosplays, it could be a specific series, or a common feature in their appearance, such as glasses)
I clearly have a costume and character type I tend to favor: fantasy royalty, by which I mean elaborate dresses or coats combined with ornaments and armor details. Quite a few people have come up to me at cons like "Hey, you cosplayed character x at con y and z at v, didn't you?" saying they knew it because the costumes were so similar. :'D Recently I've been doing less of those, though.

12. Your cosplay-making habits (eg. singing while working on cosplay)
I don't think I have any peculiar habits. I'm always listening to music when working, but that applies to other things like drawing and just surfing the net, too.

13. Your least favourite thing about cosplay?
The times when working on a costume feels more like a chore than something fun. This only happens when a deadline is getting too close and I just have to keep working on the outfit.

14. Do you belong to any cosplay groups? If so, what are they?
Ayup, to #Finnish-Tales. ♥

15. What events have you cosplayed to? Future event plans?
Animecon, Tracon, Desucon, CosplayGaala, Helsingin Kirjamessut, Bakacon... I think that's all. This year I'm planning to attend Desucon and Tracon for sure, hopefully Animecon too.

16. What is your best cosplay memory?
Can't pick just one, so many great memories. :>

17. What is your worst cosplay memory?
Cosplaying Giotto (KHR!) at Desucon last year. I got lots of nice comments and I'm really glad I got to do a pair cosplay with my BFF as Tsuna, but it just felt like everything went wrong that day. My costume just didn't work at all.

18. Have you won any cosplay awards?
Yeah, a couple.

19. Your best cosplay derp photo!
Nothing specific comes to mind and I'm too lazy to look through all my folders, so I'm sorry but you won't be seeing any derpy photos from me.

20. Have you worn cosplay in a regular situation? (eg. at school, to work)
I've cosplayed at school twice, but those were for special occasions when everybody else was dressed up too. The first time was Gwendolyn (Odin Sphere) for a formal ball and the second was Link for a school-leaving event.

21. Your most expensive cosplay.
Mm, pretty sure Serenade (Eternal Sonata) takes the cake. It has lots of little details and a complicated wig, so the material costs added up to quite a lot.

22. Your most comfortable cosplay and most uncomfortable cosplay.
Colette (Tales of Symphonia) is definitely the most comfortable to wear. As for the other question, can't pick just one 'cause I have lots of really uncomfortable outfits. : D;

23. The cosplay you put the most effort into?
Serenade. Ah, beading. ♥

24. Any unfinished costumes? Will you ever finish them?
Palutena from Kid Icarus: Uprising. Started making the costume shortly after I saw her trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but I somehow lost interest in the project along the way. I'm sure I'll finish her someday - possibly pretty soon, as the game's finally coming out and that should give me some motivation.

25. How many wigs do you own? Which is your favourite?
I counted 22 wigs in my pile, but that doesn't sound right... I'm pretty sure I have more wigs than costumes, and I just said I've made 22 costumes. Ah well, something around those numbers anyway. My favourite one might just be the one I used for Tear (Tales of the Abyss); I love how thick and long it is and I think the color's spot-on for the character.

26. Where do you work on your cosplays and where do you store them when they're done?
I work on them all around the house. 8'D I make patterns and cut fabrics in the living room, sew things and craft accessories in the kitchen and make adjustments on the dressform in my room. I have a wardrobe reserved entirely for costumes, my wigs are piled up on top of a closet, prop weapons are resting against said closet and armor pieces are stuffed in cardboard boxes in the corner of my room. I'm starting to run out of space to store all this stuff.

27. What is your favourite cosplay item?
Serenade's staff. I love the design and like how it turned out.

28. Cosplay peeves/things you are particular about
Platforms and high heels look really awkward on characters they don't belong to. Unless you can hide them under a long coat or something, I think it's way better to be too short than to wear distracting shoes. Another thing that can really take away from a costume is unstyled hair.

29. Something you want to improve on for future cosplays.
I'd like to lose some weight, but that's not related to costume-making itself. I want to get better at cutting wigs, for I often have problems with making the tips of the hair look natural.

30. Cosplay-related work you are most naturally talented at (ie: sewing, prop-making, wigstyling, etc)
Painting and detail work in general?
